Abstract

[Objective] The research aimed to discuss the influencing factors of the reducing sugar production by diluted sulfuric acid hydrolysis of old corrugated carton(OCC).[Method] OCC was hydrolyzed by diluted acid at high temperature to make the orthogonal test.[Result] The optimum hydrolysis conditions for OCC hydrolysis with diluted sulfuric acid were as follows: the mass fraction of sulfuric acid was 3%,the hydrolyzing temperature was 180 ℃,the hydrolyzing time was 60 min,liquid-solid ratio was 16(ml∶g).The yield of reducing sugar was 68.481%,its reducing sugar yield was obviously higher than that in native plant fiber such as straw, corn straw. And its acid concentration was greatly lower than that with concentrated acid hydrolysis. In the cid hydrolysis process of OCC,hemicellulose hydrolyzed earlier than cellulose in the first 30 min,the cellulose's hydrolysis mainly existed in the second 30 min, finally incarbonisation surpassed hydrolysis of cellulose during the 60th-120th min.
