Clinical Observation of Lung Cancer with Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Levels Preliminary

Objective To investigate the lung cancer patients with vascular endothelial growth factor,and clinical relations.Methods Our Hospital in January 2007 to December wholly sections treated by the hospital pathology and cytology confirmed 135 cases of lung cancer patients and hospital medical center normal routine physical examination of the serum samples of 80 cases,so health the control group.All were selected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method for determination of serum VEGF levels,and be analyzed.Results Lung cancer patients serum VEGF levels(357.9±97.3 ng/L) was significantly higher than that in healthy controls(91.3±30.2ng/L),P 0.01.And the different types,age,the histological type of serum VEGF levels no difference(P 0.05).Conclusion Serum VEGF levels in patients with lung cancer to a certain extent reflect the tumor growth,development,and the prognosis of lung cancer may play an important value.
