Abstract
Authentication,which is the foundation of secret communication and information security, has been the focus of study of network security. PCI bus is a high performance interconnecting bus for peripheral equipment. Because of the complexity of PCI bus protocol,the implementation of its in- terface is more difficult. Therefore an intelligent card for authentication is developed based on FPGA and PCI bus interface. The key points of FPGA and PCI bus interface design are introduced.
