Abstract
The PCI bus is a high performance peripheral component interconnect bus and has been widely used in embedded system.Because of the complexity of PCI bus protocol,the implementation of its interface is more difficulty than other bus.The design process of an authentication smart card and the realization of the interface of embedded system between FPGA and PCI bus by using PCI 9054 was introduced,and the issues should be take notice of were pointed out.
