Abstract
Expansive soil is a special soil material encountered in the middle route project of South-to-North Water Diversion, with features of water swelling and shrinkage, which may cause large deformation and induce significant damages to earth structure. We studied the rational construction parameters and construction technique of the embankment filling with weak expansive soil through in-site rolling tests. The soil material with nature water content, construction parameters are as follow: pavement depth of 30 cm,rolling for 6~8 times by bumping vibration roller of 20t.It is noticed that excavated nature water content of weak expansive soil should be remained during construction.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
