The curative fficacy of budesonide inhalation on acute laryngitis

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of inhalation budesonide suspl,in treating children with acute infectious laryngitis.Methods: Ninety cases of acute laryngitis were divided into three groups.All the three groups were treated with combined therapy.The observation group in- haled budesonide suspl.The control group used the dexamethasone,inhaled or vein-injected.And then the symptoms,physical signs and their du- ration were observed and compared.Results:Significant differences were found in reducing the barking cough,hoarseness,the throat obstructs in the early time of treatment between the observation group and the control group(P0.01).The curative effect of dexamethasone inhalation was poor.Conclusions:Inhaling budesonide suspl,for children with acute laryngitis shows fast and good effect and the treatment is simple with little side effect.
