Clinical observation of trabeculectomy with amniotic membrane filling

Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect ofintraocular pressure(IOP) and filtering bleb after trabeculectomy with amniotic membrane filling.Methods Trabeculectomy with amniotic membrane filling was performed in 10 patients on our department from May 2009 to May 2010,then we clinically observed postoperative visual acuity,intraocular pressure(IOP) and filtering bleb.Results Postoperative intraocular pressure were less than 21 mm Hg at various times next year.Conclusion Trabeculectomy with amniotic membrane filling can control bleb scarring and maintain normal postoperative intraocular pressure.
