Abstract
Based on the understanding of the mechanism of sediment transport and channel siltation,the regulation schemes for the outer channel of Huanghua Port are evaluated,and the rationality of the regulation scheme already carried out is discussed.The channel siltation and silltation reduction after regulation was analyzed according to the results of numerical simulation and measured data.Topics needing further study concerning the development of Huanghua Port are pointed out.
