Some Problems of Modern Social History in China

Authors argue that since the 1980s social history studies are developing rapidly,but still lack comprehensive inquiry. In this article the authors raise: 1. total social hitory and its knowledge system; 2. the relation between social history and general history; 3. the relation between social history and sociology; 4,the relation between social history and cultural history and other special histories;5,the evolution of Chinese modern history from the view of social history.
