Abstract
Objective:To investigate the value of ICU resuscitation and damage control surgery(DCS) in severe abdominal trauma. Methods:The clinical data of 32 cases with severe abdominal trauma received traditional operation were compared with those of 36 cases received DCS,and outcomes of DCS and ICU resuscitation were evaluated. Results:Twelve cases group were cured and 11cases were dead in conventional group, while in DCS group,32 cases were cured and 4 cases were dead(P0.05).Conclusion:Taking proactive DCS and ICU resuscitation in severe abdominal trauma can effectively improve survival rate and reduce mortality rate.
