Abstract

Building highway noise barriers is an effective method of mitigating traffic noise impactin environmental protection engineering.Based on research,disign and practices of highway noise barriers,the authors put forward some issues and advises that must be noticed in design and building of noise barriers in terms of acoustics,structure,materials and landscape.
