Abstract

Building highway noise barriers is practical method to mitigate traffic noise in environmental engineering.It's important to harmonize the measures of traffic noise reduction,reinforcing structure,using environment friendly materials and creating dainty landscape in design and building of highway noise barriers.Through synthetic analysis of the relevant issues,noise barriers was designed and built for viaduct of Sujiahang's expressway.The authors purposed countermeasures to advance engineering and design of highway noise barriers..
