Clinical Observation of Retention Enema with Chinese Crude Drug in Superior Position on Chronic Renal Failure

Objective: To observe the clinical curative effect of retention enema with Chinese crude drug in superior position on chronic renal failure.Method: 64 cases were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.Control group were treated with high-quailty low protein diet(diabetic diet if diabetic nephropathy patients),essential amino acid,diuresis,stepping down hypertension,dropping down blood sugar,correcting acidosis,nourishing blood,supportive treatment,and treating protopathy.Treatment group were treated with retention enema with Chinese crude drug in superior position on the found of above treatment,once a day and one course of treatment included 14 days.Result: In treatment group 15 cases were excellent,13 ones effective and 4 ones ineffective.The total effective rate was 87.52%.In control group 9 cases were excellent,11 cases effective and 12 ones ineffective.The total effective rate was 62.51%.The effective rate in treatment group was higher markedly than that in control group.The curative effect of treatment group was better than that of control group(X2=5.11,P0.05).The decrease level of serum creatinine and blood urea nitrogen in treatment group was better remarkably than that in control group.Conclusion: Retention enema with Chinese crude drug has good and reliable curative effect on chronic renal failure.Its operation in clinic is simple and it has few side effects and has reliable safety.
