Abstract

Angiostatin has been studied for years because of its inhibiting effect in the proliferation of the vascular endothelial cell.Great progress has been made in the antiangiogenic therapy for tumor by using angiostatin.Recently scientists pay more attention to the effect of angiostatin in neovascularization of eye.Advances in this field are reviewed in this article.
