NEW GENUS AND NEW SPECIES OF PENTATOMIDAE FROM YUNNAN,CHINA(INSECTA:HEMIPTERA)

One new genus, seven new species and one new subspecies of pentatomid bugs from Yunnan Province of China are described in this paper. Type specimens are kept in Nankai University except otherwise mentioned. All measurements in the descriptions are ip millimeter.Picromerus fasciaticeps sp. nov. (fig. 1)Body ochraceous, punctate, punctures more or less fused into variegated spots. Head black, tinged with metallic green, median line broadly ochraceus. Head length 2.2, width 2.35. Antennae black, 1st, 2nd and basal 1/2 of 3rd antennal segment whitish yellow, segment lengths 0.4:1.4:1.1:1.5:1.5. Pronotum rugose, laterally a broad black streak in front of callus with metallic greenish sheen, the calli outlined in black, with some black irregular short fasciae radiating backward. Antero-lateral pronotal margins thick, coarsely crenulate; lateral angles black, simple, shortly protruding out. Legs creamy white, dorsal side of front femora, inner side of middle and hind femora, both ends of tibiae, tarsi of front and middle legs, and metatarsi of hind legs black. Body length: (♀) 11.2-12.0.Holotype ♀, Yunnan (Dongchuan), 1980, Ⅶ. 24 (kept in the Quarantine Institute of Yunnan). Paratype 1♀, Yunnan.Troilus testaceus sp. nov. (fig. 2)Dorsal side and antennae uniformly testaceus. Head length 2.5, width 2.4, slightly narrowed apically, jugum a little surpassing tylus. Antennal segment lengths 0.5:1.8:1.0:1.5:1.15. Pronotum length 2.5, width 7.4, antero-lateral margins with 4-5 teeth, coarse and irregular; lateral angles broad, almost rectangular, slightly reflexed. Scutellum length 4.4, width 3.9, apical portion comparatively narrow, lateral margin with a black oblique short stripe basally, tinged with metallic green. Legs yellowish brown, speckled with small black spots. Venter yellowish brown, sparsely punctate with light brown punctures, each abdominal segment with a pair of black transverse stripe on the anterior margin. Body length: (♀) 12.7.Holotype ♀, Yunnan (Lushui), 1983. V. 11 (kept in the Quarantine Institute of Yunnan).Differs from another known species T. luridus (Fabr.) in many respects.Aeliomorpha yunnanensis sp. nov. (figs. 3-8)Somewhat close to A. linealicollis (Westwood), but body slightly narrower and longer, scutellum comparatively narrower and more strongly tapering apically, dark-color patterns on pronotum and scutellum more sharply contrasting, legs scattered with small black spots. Among the African species, A. griseoflava (Stal) is probably the closest one. Their differences are: The venter of griseoflava lacks of median dark fascia, scutellum not longer than wide, ventral rim of pygofer opening medially concave.Hend length 1.3, width 1.85. Antennal segment lengths ♂ 0.35:0.25:1.1:1.0:1.05; ♀0.35:0.5: 0.85:0.95:1.0. Pronotum length 1.6, width 4.0. Scutellum length 2.5, width 2.5. Body length 6.7-6.85. Paratypes 1♀1♂, Ynnan.Oedocoris gen. nov.Type species: Oedocoris eburneus sp. nov.Median sized, oval, punctate. Body thick and stout, tumid dorsally, covered with soft pubescence. Head and anterior portion of pronotum very strongly declivent, almost perpendicular. Head comparatively small, eyes far removed from pronotum, jugum parallel-sided, far surpassing apex of tylus, bucculae extending to the base of head. Pronotum with antero-lateral sides broadly and sharply marginated, straight, more or less crenulate: lateral angle outwardly pointed, short and simple. Scutellum with a large deep pit at each basal angle. Apical margin of corium broadly curvate, frenulum reaching the middle of scutellum. Mesosternum with a low keel. Scent gland auricles small, sharpened apically and reflexed. Venter not swollen medially at its basis. Posterior angles of connexival segments shortly pointed.Oedocoris eburneus sp. nov.
