Abstract
Although the positioning technology based on GPS is practical currently, it still need more than 4 observed GPS satellites to work. This paper presents a two-satellite positioning system based on Digital Map and Dead Reckoning System. The precision of the positioning system was enhanced by employ Kalman filtering algorithm to filter the combination information of the GPS and DR system. Experiments show that the integrated navigation system can provide precise positioning results and enhance the adaptability of vehicles in the complex environments of cities.
