Abstract

Regenerative braking is not only a significant characteristic of EV,but also can improve its economic efficiency. The constraints are analyzed in the course of braking energy recovery. Then by designing the vehicle structure and the control strategy of regenerative braking system to resolve or weaken the problem that limits the braking energy recovery, meeting the design's objective. At last, the test is done on the road, and the result indicates: 25% power can be recovered, and the mileage is prolonged.
