Deng Xiaoping's Contribution to the Construction of Socialist Political Civilization

Deng Xiaoping expounded his views that democracy is the essence of the socialist society,and in order to develop socialist democracy,we must advance the reform of political systems.He held that the construction of socialist democracy must be linked with that of the socialist legal system.Moreover,he stressed the leadership of the Party when we advance the socialist democracy,and directed the socialist political construction with the ideas of political civilization.In a word,Deng Xiaoping contributed much to the progress of socialist democracy and socialist legal system of our country.
