Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of ventricular intracranial pressure monitoring on acute severe craniocerebral injury. Methods 100 cases with acute severe craniocerebral injury admitted in our hospital from May 2013 to September 2014 were randomly selected. All the 100 patients were treated by ventricular test set implantation operation. During the treatment, the intracranial pressure of the patients was monitored and observed for 4-15 days for assessing whether certain clinical effect was achieved. Results GOS was used to evaluate the conditions of the patients. Of the 100 cases with acute severe craniocerebral injury, there are 50 cases with good recovery, 25 cases with moderate disability, 15 cases with severe disability, 4 cases of death,and 6 cases with vegetative state. Conclusion Ventricular intracranial pressure monitoring applied to acute severe craniocerebral injury, is of positive significance in improving the patient's condition.
