Abstract
Marxist theory of the general development of a person does not mean that it is the development of an individual, but the development of each person in the whole society. Its development is united with the development of the society. This paper dissertates that the general development of a person and the general development of the society are relatively independent, and mutual parallels, mutual preconditions and mutual bases to each other starting from the Marxism's point of view of the general development of a person. The correspondent measures that should be taken to promote the general development of a person are also proposed in this paper.
