Abstract
Studies on micropropagation of radish were carried out on CMS lines A1. The results showed that high frequency of adventitious shoot could be gotten by using the tip of stem with cotyledon as explants. For adventitious shoot genesis, the optimum medium was base medium with 6-BA(4mg/L) + NAA (0. 4mg/L). Medium supplemented 6-BA 4mg/L + NAA 0. 2mg/L was optimum for the number of regenerated shoots per explant. Enhancing the rate of 6-BA/NAA was essential for keeping high frequency of adventitious shoot after several times of subculture.
