A Study on the Pipe laying Technology in Shallow beach Sea

Abstract
An offshore pipe laying and cable laying barge was designed and built for shengli Offshore Oilfield and for other shallow water oilfields in Bohai Bay.The design scheme of pipe laying and cable laying technology for this barge is introduced and discussed,which includes the pipe laying in the first stage,the normal pipe laying operation,the installation of riser,the pipe constant tension control,the process of pipe abandon and pipe collection,the control of barge positioning and transportation etc.
