On Content and Achievement of China's Railway Management System Reform

Under the pressure of the demand of national economy development for the transportation,China's railway management system began a reform from 2005,eliminating 41 railway branches,employing the system of railway bureau directly managing stations.This system produced good achievements after its years' enforcement.Railway carrying capacity,locomotive vehicle use efficiency,dispatching command efficiency,key material transportation guarantee ability,and passenger and freight volume have greatly increased,with the great deduction of management members and expenses.
