A NEW SPECIES OF CAVE SINOCYCLOCHEILUS FROM GUANGXI -SINOCYCLOCHEILUS JIUXUENSIS LI ET LAN,SP. NOV.

Abstract
This paper describes a new species of the genus Sinocyclocheilus , which was collected from the cave Jiuxu in Hechi City of Guangxi,China.
Sinocyclocheilus jiuxuensis Li et Lan,sp. nov.
Holotype No. 20020829004,total length 115 mm,standard length 90 mm,collected on August 29, 2002 from cave Jiuxu of Hechi (24°30'N,107°45'E altitude 220 m) in Guangxi Province. Paratype 5 specimens No. 20020829001- 003, 20020829005 - 006, total length 117 - 149 mm, standard length 89 -124 mm,collected with the holotype.

Diagnosis:the new species is similar to S. halfibindus Li et Lan(1992) ,but differs from the latter in: (1)dorsal fin iii,7;Vs 9;(2)head lengthlength of caudal peduncle;Vs head lengthlength of caudal peduncle; (3)gill-rakers 2 + 5 - 7;Vs 2 + 8-10. The new species is similar to S. altishoulderus Li et Lan (1992),but differs from latter in:(1)lateral line scales 47 -49;Vs 54 -58;(2)flat of parietal;Vs rised sharply; (3)thin and short of barbel, ect. All type specimens are kept in Heilongtan Reservoir of Shilin, Yunnan, China.
