Abstract

Objective To determine content of linalool in the Volatile oil of Coriandrum sativum L.. Method Bornyl acetate was used as internal standard in order to determine content of Linalool in the volatile oil of Coriandrum sativum L.. collected in Shaanxi, Beijing, Anhui, Henan, and Guangdong, respectively. Result Content of volatile oil and the content of linalool in it vary with sites that the herbs were collected. Conclusion This method is simple and of good repeatability, and can be used to determine the content of linalool in the volatile oil of Coriandrum sativum L..
