Abstract
In this paper,a GS/MS-SIM analysis method was established for the simultaneous determination of 21 kinds of phthalates in leather products.Phthalates in leather products were ultrasonically extracted at 40℃ using hexane as the extraction solvent, then the extracts were treated, followed by the analysis applying gas chromatography/mass spectrometry-selected ion monitor(GC/MS-SIM) technique. The proposed method was accurate, rapid and sensitive. The detection limits of DINP and DIDP were 1.0 mg/kg and 2.0 mg/kg,respectively.The detection limits of other phthalates were all less than 0.4mg/kg.The spiked average recoveries changed from 89.99% to 98.40%.The relative standard deviation(RSD) of precision experiment was all less than 10%.The proposed method was applied successfully to the determination of phthalates in 47 kinds of commercially available leather products and phthalates were found to exist in two samples.
