The Understanding and Practice of Female Emancipation Movement in the Central Soviet Area

In old China,women were constrained and oppressed by the feudalist system.The Soviet Government of the Central Soviet Area analyzed the women's sufferings according to the actual situation and spared no effort to save them from these sufferings.Though there were some mistakes in the female emancipation movement,it embodied the basic characteristic of combining Marxism with the revolutionary practice of China,improved women's status,protected their rights and benefits,and promoted the development of the Central Soviet Area.In this paper,the female emancipation movement in the Central Soviet Area is analyzed from the following four aspects: theory,legal and organic guarantee,freedom of marriage,and political participation.
