Analysis on Tuberculosis Surveillance in Dari County of Qinghai Province during 2007-2010

[Objective]To analyze the epidemic situation of tuberculosis in Dari county in south pastoral area of Qinghai from 2007 to 2010,provide the basis for further prevention of tuberculosis and implementation of tuberculosis control project. [Methods]The data of tuberculosis surveillance in four years were collected and statistically analyzed. [Results]241 tuberculosis cases were found in four years,60.58% were male patients and 39.42% were female patients.The incidence of people aged 20~40 years old was the highest,and that of children under 10 years old was low.83.81% of cases were herdsman,followed by students(10.41%).From 2007 to 2010,the annual incidence of smear positive pulmonary tuberculosis was 23.33%,43.48%,50.0% and 53.57% respectively,which increased year by year.The cure rate of smear positive patients increased from 85.71% in 2007 to 93.33% in 2010. [Conclusion]The implementation of tuberculosis control project in Dari county ensured the diagnosis and treatment of patients with tuberculosis,and promoted prevention and control of tuberculosis.The surveillance results indicated that the investment on tuberculosis control project should be increased unceasingly,in order to reach the goal of tuberculosis control in future.
