The Transurethral Resection of Prostate(TURP) Treatment of High-risk Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia(Report of 62 Cases)

Objective:To evaluate the transurethral resection of prostate(TURP) treatment of high-risk benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH) in the causes of surgical complications,as well as prevention and treatment of complications to surgical safety and efficacy can be improved.Methods:Retrospective analysis of 62 transurethral resection of prostate(TURP) in patients,who associated with heart disease in elderly patients with lung disease with benign prostatic hyperplasia.Results:These 62 patients had symptoms of dysuria improvement,of which 1 patient had temporary urinary incontinence,2 months after the turn for the better.Of which 7 cases of urinary tract infection,with improved anti-infective treatment.There are five patients with gross hematuria occur by hematuria,hematuria disappeared after treatment.No blood transfusion cases,these patients don't have TURP syndrome(TURS) occurred.Conclusion:TURP is safe and effective treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia surgical method.Its advantages are satisfactory outcome with few complications,safety,shorter length of stay and lower cost.
