Abstract
First, the basic principle and method of airborne radar calibration were explained. Then, based on static method with source of airborne radar calibration, the receiving distance of calibrating system in the permissible error range and minimal receiving distance of airborne radar's antenna were analyzed. The rule of choosing the minimal distance between calibration system and airborne radar was put forward. The rule was successfully applied to some airborne radar calibration system.
