Abstract

Construction Grammar established and grounded in Cognitive Linguistics was proposed mainly by Adele E.Goldberg Paul Kay in 1990s.Construction Grammar intends to illustrate all the linguistic phenomena with argument structure and marked constructions as the two most outstanding achieve- ments.Being defined asa pairing of form and meaning,Construction Grammar claims that grammatical constructions have meaning and pragmatics function independent of the words they contain.Therefore,it is necessary to make a brief comment on Construction Grammar,which includes its constructional de - velopment,main features,study focus as well as its possible future development.
