Abstract
The composition or formation of a was based on principle of single bloodline of paternal line.Of all one's relatives some were confirmed as relatives of clan.In ancient in which one knew one's mother but did not know one's father,in other words, when there was no concept of bloodline of paternal line, there were not only families but also as groups of people.Even when did possess significance as groups of relatives, they were not necessarily the exclusive forms of address for groups of relatives on paternal line.Clans could be used to reflect ages before clans. The concept of patriarchal clan is a dual structure where ancestry and clans had their respective first conditions, experienced their own development processes and showed historical features.Clans are integrated into and included in ancestry.Logically, clans should have existed before ancestry.
