Study on effect of traditional Chinese medicine combined with acupuncture in treatment of thirty six cases of sciatica

Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine combined with acupuncture in treatment of patients with sciatica.Methods Patients in control group were treated by acupuncture,and patients in study group were treated by acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine,and all of them were treated for two therapeutic courses,then therapeutic effects were compared between these two groups.Results Study patients were efficiency(30.55%),the total efficiency(86.11%) was significantly higher(14.71%,67.65%),the differences wrer significant(P0.05).Conclusion The rate of effectiveness in patients with sciatica treated by traditional Chinese medicine combined with acupuncture is higher than that of patients in control group,and it is suitable for clinical recommendation.
