Abstract
Objective To observe the efficacy of combination therapy with acupuncture and Chinese medicine for 45 patients with insomnia.Methods A total of 90 patients were randomly divided into a study group and a control group.The study group received acupuncture and Chinese medicine,while the control group were treated with estazolam and oryzanol.4-week was confined as a treatment course.Results The cure rate was 28.89% and the total effectiveness rate was 93.33% in the study group,which were higher than those in the control group(17.78%,48.89%),and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusions Combination therapy with acupuncture and Chinese medicine is efficacious in the treatment of insomnia.
