On the Poetic Features of Sun Li's Novels

Abstract

Sun Li's novels contain profound artistic charm,which,seen from literary styles,is due to distinctive poetic features of his novels.This is mainly displayed as follows:First,the characters possess poetic images.In Sun Li's novels,the young women in countryside are depicted as embodiment of the perfection of beauty.Second,the poetic artistic conception takes up a prominent place in novels.Third,the novels are loose in form,but compact in spirit.Fourth,the writer is good at using similes and metaphors and puts emphasis on rhythmic beauty of language.All above-mentioned points enable language of Sun Li's novels possess poetic charm.
