Abstract
Hybrid system is a complex system with both continuous dynamic and discrete events. It is a pop field in control theory in recent years. According to the features of the hybrid systems including both continuous variables and discrete events,it is very diffcult to analyse it.The method for modeling hybrid systems includes:hybrid automata, petri nets and duration calculi. Based on the introduction of the conception and characteristic, this paper introduces the problem of modeling and simulating hybrid systems. And hybrid finite automata are used to modle supermarket refrigeratory, and STATEFLOW in MATLAB is used to carry out simulation. The result of simulation shows that using stateflow of MATLAB for simulating hybrid systems has a good effect.
