Abstract
Hybrid system is a complex system with both continuous dynamic and discrete events. It is the pop field in control theory in recent ten years and provides a good theory framework for resolving sorts of complicated nolinear systems. Computer simulation technology is the effectual tools for analyzing and researching the hybrid systems. The key problem for the simulation of hybrid systems is the synchronization between the two kinds of models. By analyzing the key problems for simulation of hybrid system, we provide a method for simulation of hybrid systems based on the model of finite automata applying in stateflow toolbox in MATLAB. The typical examples are given to illustrate the method. The result of simulation shows that using stateflow of MATLAB for simulating hybrid systems has a good effect and it is very concise. And we can coordinate two parts very good.
