Abstract

FEA technology is used to perform the structural intensity and stiffness analysis on the assembly parts of cylinder block, cylinder head, crankshaft, main bearing covers, cylinder liners, and flywheel shell, etc.of the 6110 diesel engine. The results of FEA are based on the FE-models and boundary conditions applied on the FE-model.The precise 3D models of the parts mentioned above are modeled with Pro/Engineer.The boundary conditions are obtained by test.Models used in the calculation are calibrated with the results of the test.
