Abstract

Select ordinary portland cement concrete whose water cement ratio is 0.6, place themrespectively into 10%sodium sulfate solution and clear water to do the corrosion experiment through laboratory'smethod of complete immersion.Experimental results show that: in the early days of corrosion, compressive strength of concrete cube improves to some degree compared with the non-corrosion ones,which due to corrosion products' filling effect on the internal pore of concrete, and compressive strength of concrete begin to decline when it comes 120 d later.During the corrosion experiment, use ultrasonic plane testingmethod and inversemethod based on strength degradation of concrete cube to estimate corrosion thickness, then build fiducial model about corrosion rate of sulfate-corroded concrete,which is based on corrosion thickness, laying foundation of building corrosion ratemodel while the concrete is placed under different influence factors in later studies.
