Abstract

The works of SHEN Congwen are characterized by attractive folkway,distinctive humanity and vivid language.Depending on his traits as a country man,he constructed a world calledthe world in the west of Hunanin which he expressed his ideal way of living.From the perspective of original thinking,the paper,by combining the theory of folklore,tends to reveal the thoughts and feelings of original thinking embedded in the works of Shen Congwen.
