Abstract
HE Chang-lin was a well-known minister during Jia-dao Period of Qing dynasty.From the 16th year(1836) to the 25th year(1845) during the reign of Dao Guang Emperor,he was governor for military and civil affairs in Guizhou for as long as nine years,during which he paid great attention to the education of people in Guizhou,was concerned about children,developed vocational technological education,thus pushing forward the progress and development of education in Guizhou.
