Abstract

Objective To provide evidence for housefly,Musca domestica, prevention and control by analyzing housefly insecticide resistance. Methods The insecticide resistance of housefly were determined by topical application method. Results The LD 50valuesof housefly to deltamethrin and DDVP were 0.007, 0.013, 0.015, 0.018, 0.022, 0.016, 0.014, 0.013 μg/♀and 0.148, 0.247, 0.359, 0.427, 0.573, 0.548, 0.519, 0.513 μg/♀ and the average resistant ratios were 14.0, 26.0, 30.0, 36.0, 44.0, 32.0, 28.0, 26.0and 14.8, 24.7, 35.9, 42.7, 57.3, 54.8, 51.9, 53.1respectively in seven sample sites from 1997 to 2004. Conclusion The resistant levels of housefly to 2 kinds of insecticide were going up from 1997 to 2001 and going slow down after 2001.
