FOLK PLACE NAMES EVIDENCE ON THE TERRITORIAL SOVEREIGNTY OF XISHA AND NANSHA ISLANDS BELONGING TO CHINA

Abstract
Based on the discussion of the origin and formation history of the folk place names of Xisha and Nansha Islands,the specific names and amount of folk place names were introduced in Genglubu and Relative Investigation of Fishery and Aquatic Resources of Xisha,Nansha and Zhongsha Islands.It also pointed out the significance of folk place names to the fact that the territorial sovereignty of Xisha and Nansha Islands belongs to China.
