Abstract
ObjectiveTo investigate the resistance of Musca domestica to 4 kinds of normal used insecticides in Jiangsu province in 2005.MethodsTopical application.ResultsMusca domestica developed high resistances to DDVP,cypermethrin,deltamethrin and permethrin in Zhengjiang and Taizhou city.In Zhangjiagang,the resistances to cypermethrin,deltamethrin and permethrin were moderate,while the resistance to DDVP was high.ConclusionAfter some insecticides were used to control Musca domestica for a long time in Zhenjiang,Taizhou and Zhangjiagang,Musca domestica had developed obvious resistance to insecticides.Insecticides should be changed for controlling Musca domestica in these areas.
