Abstract
Objective To know the resistance of Musca domestica in 2004. Methods LD50 of Musca domestica to deltamethrin, cyperimethrin, permethrin and DDVP were determined by topical application methods. Results The toxicity to the field strain was different among 4 insecticides, in which deltamethrin was of the highest toxicity with 0.2 μg per piece of LD50, but resistance to deltamethrin in the field strain was of high level, of which resistance factor was 333. Conclusion As far as resistance was concerned, it was not proper to control Musca domestica with pyrethroid for a long time.
