The application of Sysmex XE-2100 automatic hematology analyzer in the determination of leukocyte differential count

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the accuracy of Sysmex XE-2100 automatic hematology analyzer in the determination of leukocyte differential count,and to provide basis for choosing test methods in clinic.Methods:A total of 60 samples of venous blood were determined for leukocyte differential count with Sysmex XE-2100 automatic hematology analyzer and microscope respectively,with 10 times for each sample,and the precision was analyzed,then the results of leukocyte differential count of these two methods were underwent correlation analysis.Results:Both the within-batch precision and between-run precision of Sysmex XE-2100 automatic hematology analyzer were in the allowed ranges.The results of leukocyte differential count with both Sysmex XE-2100 automatic hematology analyzer and microscope showed a good correlation,and the coefficient correlations of neutrophile granulocytes,leukomonocytes,monocytes,eosinophilic granulocytes and basophilic granulocytes were 0.9238,0.9764,0.8230,0.8862 and 0.6047 respectively(all P0.05).Conclusion:Sysmex XE-2100 automatic hematology analyzer can rapidly and accurately determine leukocyte differential count,which has a good repeatability and is suitable for the determination of a large number of samples,thus it is an ideal analyzer for the tests in clinic.
