Abstract

Objective To explore the application of community-based lumbar muscle strength training intervention to improve patients with lumbar disc herniation of lumbar function, research and application of community intervention to reduce the recurrence of lumbar intervertebral disc in patients with an effective way. Methods 56 cases treated and cured and markedly effective in patients with lumbar disc herniation treated by the time the end of the community were randomly divided into intervention and control groups, the community intervention group lumbar abdominal strength training, the control group only the waist protection of health education.1 year follow-up recurrence rates were observed, and after treatment, respectively 6 and 12 months for assessment of lumbar function. Results The community intervention group 1 year relapse rate was significantly lower than the control group(χ2 = 7.16,P0.01).The results of two groups of patients immediately after the end of the lumbar spine functional score by the t test the difference was not significant(t=0.70,P 0.05) after the treatment of community-based intervention group 6 and 12 months, lumbar spine functional score higher than immediately after treatment, the difference was significant(t=1.86,1.89,P0.05),6 and 12 months score difference was not significant(t=0.73,P 0.048);the control group after treatment 6 and 12 months score and treatment of the lumbar spine no obvious difference compared to immediately after(t=2.09.1.79.P0.05).6 and 12 months compared with no obvious difference score(t=0.57,P 0.05);community-based treatment intervention group 6 and 12 months of lumbar function score were significantly higher than control inspection teams score the same period, the difference was very significant and(t=2.69,2.56,P0.01).Conclusion The lumbar muscle strength training to be effective in improving patients with lumbar disc herniation of lumbar function, prevention of recurrence.
