Abstract
AIM: To investigate the chemical constituents in flower bud of Lonicera macranthoides. METHODS: The constituents were isolated and purified by means of various chromatographic methods, and spectroscopic methods were used to identify their structures. RESULTS: Eleven compounds were obtained and identified as 1-O-caffeoylquinic acid (Ⅰ), 4-O-caffeoylquinic acid(Ⅱ) 5-O-caffeoylquinic acid butyl ester (Ⅲ), quercetin(Ⅳ), tricin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(Ⅴ), quercetin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (Ⅵ), luteolin-7-O-β-D-galactoside(Ⅶ), inositol(Ⅷ), β-sitosterol(Ⅸ), nonadecanol(Ⅹ) and glucose(Ⅺ). CONCLUSION: Compounds Ⅰ,Ⅱ were first isolated from Genus Lonicera, while compounds Ⅲ~Ⅺ were isolated from the plant for the first time.
