Abstract
Purpose To choose the reasonable direction,promote the integumentary system for the development of urban space in BaoJi,to achieve the coordinated development between the city and the regional ecology.Ways using the desk research,a qualitative description and the theory of linear city's spatial expansion.Results There are four stages for the city's spatial expansion in BaoJi,besides,the environment of natural geography,the lever of economic development and traffic is the primary force to drive the evolution of the city's spatial expansion.Conclusion a reasonable way must be choosed for the city's spatial expansion,through the traffic and ecological conservation to become the networking space structure between cities and towns.
