Abstract

This article by compared automatic and manual programming for NC machining of their respective advantages and conditions of use,pointing out CAD/CAM technology is widely used in various trades and industries,accelerating product updates,powerful tool for improving product quality and enhance market competitiveness.Through CAD modeling processing and CAM processing of workpiece star-whee as example for analysis,point out how to using CAD/CAM software generated products three dimensional model,tool trochoid,machining program and the entire process of products machining,pointed out the key technology and the operation process of CAD/CAM,indicates the necessity of using CAD/CAM technology in modern enterprise,and give out the details problem and the note matters in modeling,simulation,and machining,provides a research method for lovers of NC machining to use CAD/CAM.
